Best V-12 Powered Cars You Can Still Buy in 2024
The V-12 Powered Engine isn’t extinct yet, but it is highly endangered.

Pour one out for the big boys, the 12-cylinder vehicles that have been and gone. Large displacement engines are becoming increasingly rare as turbocharging, supercharging, and hybridization technologies progress. Dozens of brands have replaced their largest (and best) engines with smaller units that use forced induction. However, there are some survivors.
A few sports cars, supercars, and even a couple of premium SUVs still rely on the acclaimed V-12 Powered Cars. Whereas many others have abandoned theirs, Aston Martin, Bentley, and Ferrari aren’t ready to give up the big 12-cylinder just yet.
Most of these V-12 Powered automobiles will require a large sum of money to purchase. But get these autos while you still can, Not many of them will survive for a very long time.
Rolls-Royce Phantom

The renowned Phantom completes the Rolls-Royce range, sharing its siblings’ 6.7-liter V-12 twin-turbo engine. Here, it produces 563 horsepower and accelerates the sedan to 60 miles per hour in roughly 5.0 seconds. Although the Black Badge Phantom is not available yet, the basic model is still quite costly. The 2024 price of the Phantom is $505,750.
Aston Martin Valkyrie

An engineering wonder, the Aston Martin Valkyrie. Its F1-inspired aerodynamics, naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V-12 Powered engine created by Cosworth, and one electric motor allow it to produce 1,139 horsepower. It can hit 60 mph in just 2.3 seconds, and its maximum speed is 217 mph. The price of a Valkyrie, if you’re among the 150 fortunate buyers worldwide who obtain one, is a whopping $3.5 million.
Ferrari 812 GTS

With other models downsizing and going turbocharged, Ferrari is perhaps the final car in the range to have a V-12 Powered engine. Beneath its opulent exterior, the 812 GTS retains its naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V-12 Power engine, producing 789 horsepower. With that, the super convertible will reach 60 mph in under 3.0 seconds and reach a top speed of 211 mph. With its naturally aspirated power, the Ferrari 812 GTS is not cheap—it will set you back slightly over $433,000 in 2024.
Gordon Murray Automotive T.33

Designed by the guy responsible for the renowned McLaren F1, the Gordon Murray T.33 is an authentic V-12 Powered supercar. Its 3.9-liter V-12 Cosworth engine produces 333 pound-feet of torque and 607 horsepower at a redline of 11,000 rpm. It comes with a manual, too. The T.33 is entirely sold out and retails for approximately $1.8 million. It is offered in both left- and right-hand drive configurations.
Lamborghini Revuelto

It looks like electrification is coming. However, Lamborghini does not necessarily have to reduce. The 6.5-liter V-12 engine in the new Revuelto is still paired with two electric motors to provide an incredible 1,001 horsepower and a lightning-fast 0-60 mph pace of about 2.4 seconds. Even better, the Revuelto can travel eight miles on electricity alone. That’s still a remarkable feat. The newest Lamborghini super coupe is priced at $608,358.
Mercedes-Maybach S680

Mercedes is all-in on electrification, but the Maybach S680 is the one vehicle in the portfolio that maintains the dream of a V-12 Powered Engine. The twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V-12 engine of the most spacious and opulent S-Class produces 621 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. Even though it’s not a sports vehicle, it has enough power to reach 60 miles per hour in 4.5 seconds. A Maybach S680 will set you back $235,450 in 2024 if you want one.
Pagani Imola Roadster

Pagani still employs a V-12 Powered Engine, of course. In its expensive and constrained lineup, it is the only engine that the carmaker offers. The Imola Roadster, the first of two new Pagani cars with the V-12 Powered Engine, is powered by a twin-turbo 6.0-liter V-12 Power engine from Mercedes-AMG that produces 838 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque. It can reach a maximum speed of 217 kilometers per hour with a basic seven-speed sequential transmission. Pagani is only producing eight of the anticipated $5.4 million Imola Roadsters.
Rolls-Royce Cullinan

The massive and opulent Cullinan SUV from Rolls-Royce is powered by a 6.7-liter V-12 Power twin-turbo engine that produces 592 horsepower in the Black Badge version and 563 horsepower in the ordinary model. In less than five seconds, the latter model will reach sixty miles per hour. In 2024, the standard Cullinan will set you back $391,750, while the Black Badge will set you back $453,250.
Gordon Murray Automotive T.50

The T.50 has a conventional Cost worth V-12 Powered, same as the smaller T.33. However, it produces 654 horsepower and a massive 12,100 rpm redline here. Better aerodynamics are achieved using the T.50’s integrated, 48-volt electrically powered fan located at the back of the vehicle. Customers who want the V-12 Powered tuned to 725 horsepower can get the T.50S Niki Lauda edition if they want a tough track version. In the US, the rare Niki Lauda edition costs around $4.3 million, while the normal T.50 costs roughly $3.0 million.
Ferrari Purosangue

There’s even a V-12 Powered in Ferrari’s first SUV. Similar to the 812 GTS, the Purosangue has a 6.5-liter V-12 Powered engine that produces “just” 715 horsepower and 528 pound-feet of torque. That’s still sufficient to give the Purosangue a 3.3-second 0-60 mph pace and a 192-mph top speed. The price of the Purosangue SUV for the 2024 model year is $398,350.
Aston Martin DBS

Among the surviving is the Aston Martin DBS. The DB12 and Vantage have (for the time being) given up on their V-12 Powered engines, but the DBS retains a 5.2-liter, 12-cylinder twin-turbo engine that produces 715 horsepower right out of the box. That translates to a 3.2-second run from 0 to 60 mph. With a maximum speed of 211 mph, the even more potent DBS 770 Ultimate produces 664 pound-feet of torque and 760 horsepower.
Rolls-Royce Ghost

Another brand that wouldn’t be the same without a V-12 Powered Engine is Rolls-Royce. For 2024, even its “entry-level” vehicle, the Ghost, will still be powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.7-liter V-12 Powered Engine. In standard configuration, it produces 563 horsepower, while the Black Badge version produces 592 horsepower. The latter version costs an additional $43,000 and is 50% faster than the basic Ghost. But fear not—a standard Ghost is still available for the pitiful sum of $354,750.
