Toyota is releasing a new coupe that runs on batteries. Its design is based on the gorgeous FT-Se concept from the Japan Mobility Show last year. It is expected to feature two electric motors and achieve 60 mph in less than 3.0 seconds. It is feasible to create a simulated manual gearbox with up to 14 gears, but the cost will undoubtedly be high. Toyota may need to charge close to $70,000 for this Future Ev’s if it wants to compete with the electric 718.
Tesla Roadster

Hopefully, the Tesla Roadster will eventually come to pass. Perhaps. Elon Musk, the CEO, stated that the business would start shipping the model in 2025 and has made some audacious statements on its capabilities. It is expected to cost at least $200,000. It can reportedly accelerate to 60 miles per hour in less than a second, and it may be capable of producing 1,000 horsepower.
Porsche Electric Hypercar

Polestar 6

Polestar listened as the internet spoke. Due to the overwhelmingly good response from enthusiasts, the adorable O2 convertible concept will go into production in 2026. Polestar is benchmarking the 6—which might have as much as 800 horsepower when it debuts in 2026—using the Porsche 911 and Taycan. It should be far more than $100,000, too.
Nissan Leaf

Mercedes-Benz ‘Little G’ EV

We have good news if you’ve always wanted a smaller G-Class. Mercedes intends to introduce a fully electric “little g” to its lineup of G-Class vehicles. The smaller G should share the larger G-Class’s tough overall shape, but with design cues from the EQ. It should have a range of at least 300 miles and will utilize the most recent version of Mercedes Modular Architecture (MMA). Anticipate its arrival in late 2026. It is one of the Best Future Ev’s.
Lotus Type 135 Sports Car
Release Date: 2027

In 2025, Lotus will unveil a future sports vehicle that will be available for purchase in 2027. In Lotus’s lineup, it will take the place of the Emira (seen here) and Elise. It will cost approximately £75,000 ($96,000 in today’s currency). It is one of the Best Future Ev’s. The sports car is expected to feature two different powerplant options, producing 469 or 872 horsepower, and a base that can support both all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive configurations.
Jeep Wrangler EV

Although there were some concerns about Jeep electrifying the legendary Wrangler by making it a hybrid, a completely electric off-road vehicle is still a few years off. It is one of the Best Future Ev’s. While an all-electric Wrangler is probably not going to happen before 2027, Jeep is probably going to try its hand with the aptly titled Recon, which makes its debut before the end of this year.
Genesis X Convertible

The Genesis X concept made its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show, and the manufacturer swiftly announced that the convertible was going into production. It is quite beautiful. The Genesis X is expected to cost well over $200,000 or $300,000. It is one of the Best Future Ev’s.
