Since the year is over halfway over, cars from the 2025 model year have already started to appear on dealer lots. Regretfully, that also implies that just a handful of cars—at least 20 of them already on the block—won’t survive to see the new year.
It’s been a long time coming for some people. With the GT-R and Titan being phased out after this year, the old Nissan portfolio might use a significant makeover. Maserati is trading in the Ghibli for a new vehicle in the meantime. However, we will be sorry to see some others depart, such as the Ram TRX, the legendary Camaro, and the Bugatti Chiron.

BMW X3M
The X3M’s demise hasn’t been formally announced by BMW, but the signs are clear. There won’t be a performance-focused M model released alongside the new BMW X3M. BMW’s next performance SUV, the all-electric iX3 M (or whatever it may be called), will take center stage. This validates a 2022 story speculating that the upcoming X3 performance model would exclusively be electric.
Chevrolet Camaro
Chevy discontinued the four-cylinder Camaro last year. The whole Camaro brand will vanish into the sunset in 2025. The last sixth-generation vehicle, a ZL1 1LE with 650 horsepower and a manual gearbox, was actually manufactured in December 2023, but you can probably still locate a brand-new 2024 model on dealer lots.
Jaguar F-Type
Earlier this month, the final Jaguar F-Type, honoring the E-Type with a gorgeous Giola Green paint job over Windsor leather, rolled off the assembly line. After ten years and multiple revisions, Jaguar’s cherished sports vehicle is formally discontinued as the firm transitions to electrification in the upcoming years.
Jeep Gladiator Manual
The Jeep Gladiator name will endure until 2025, so don’t worry. We regret to inform you that a handbook will not be provided. The eight-speed automatic transmission will have to do for you in place of Jeep’s discontinued stick option for the off-road pickup.
Maserati Ghibli
This model of the Maserati Ghibli will be phased out in 2025 after 11 years of production. Maserati may eventually replace the outdated Ghibli with an electric or hybrid drivetrain as the company continues to march toward electrification.
Nissan GT-R
October will mark the formal conclusion of Nissan GT-R manufacture in the United States, a long time coming. Nissan is honoring the long history of the GT-R with two special editions, the Takumi Edition and the Skyline Edition, as it bids adieu to its famous sports vehicle. Toyota Supra Four-Cylinder
The six-cylinder Supra is here to stay, at least for a few more years, which is fantastic news. The bad news is that one will have to scour the used market if they are expecting to obtain the less expensive four-cylinder variant. Bugatti Chiron
The cherished Chiron is going out of production with the release of the new Tourbillon. Over its eight-year existence, the hypercar achieved great success, inspiring dozens of variations and, for a brief period, setting a world record for the highest speed achieved by a car: 304.8 miles per hour. Chiron, we will miss you and your crazy W-16 engine. It’s one from Discontinued Cars of 2024.
Mini Clubman
Not in Mini’s updated lineup will be the endearing Clubman. In 2024, you can still theoretically purchase one, but the Final Edition will only be available in less than 100 pieces in the US, with a starting price of $47,145. Audi A5 Coupe / Cabrio
Two more victims of Audi’s reduced portfolio are the A5 Coupe and the A5 Cabrio. When the new A5 sedan goes on sale later this year, it will be the only version of the A5, replacing the two-door and drop-top versions that have been available since the first generation car made its US debut in 2007. The Giulia Quadrifoglio with a gas engine will no longer be produced by the business after2024, but according to Larry Dominique, Head of North American Operations, the clover badge may reappear on an electric or hybrid performance vehicle in the coming years. RAM 1500 TRX
A new RHO will be installed in lieu of the deceased Ram 1500 TRX. It’s one from Discontinued Cars of 2024. This implies that after this year, the 702-horsepower truck won’t be offered in the US.
